Booked a room through Prticeline at the Howard Johnson's in Lexington, VA. Was awakened in the middle of the night by gnawing sounds. We packed and checked out. I told the Manager-on-Duty why we were leaving and requested a refund. She told me I had to contact Priceline. I did and Priceline tells me that the hotel offered me a different room and I refused so no refund would be forthcoming. I informed Priceline that this was absolutely untrue. No room was ever offered and well, lets face it, they have rats in the hotel. Priceline reiterated the lie the hotel is telling and now does not respond to my contacts. Priceline rated this hotel as 3 stars. You need to know this may mean, "includes rats."
