I had this for literately 5 mins when I realized it was not what I wanted at all. I have a 5 day trial, so I figured why not cancel now so I dont forget. I go to cancel and they want to charge me $1 for a convenience fee.... See More Of course they offer an alternative. Call or email to cancel. Since I dont believe in milking every dime you can out of your customers I decided to email. Didnt work... So i tried to call. Still does not work. They are cheap and have no care about their customers. Honestly, I am very surprised they are in business. I WAS ONLY A MEMBER FOR 5 MINS and I am disgusted!

This site is a scam.

I was directed to Mediabi when searching for some software. Mediabi indicated they had the software. To sign up, I had to provide credit card information "for verification only". I have never fallen for this ruse before but I need the software and... See Morea quick Google search of Mediabi indicated it was legit. After going through the signup process and carefully unchecking the boxes that would have automatically billed me for extras, I browsed the site and found in a FAQ section that my credit card would have been billed $30 or $40ish automatically after the three day free trial.

After signing up, I searched Mediabi for the software and they do not have it. (3 different programs showed up in the teaser to get me to sign up but none of them turned out to be available at the site.)

I immediately searched and found the cancellation page. I filled out the cancellation form but read the fine print. It said that I would be billed $1 for express cancelling. More fine print indicated that I could phone an 800 number or email to cancel but it might take three days to go into effect. I immediately phoned and cancelled - listen to the options carefully because you have to punch different numbers three times to cancel. I also clicked the email tab but after picking cancellation as my reason for the email, I was looped back to the express ($1 fee for cancelling page). I went back to email and picked general question and cancelled there also.

Waste of time. Scam site.

PS. Just checked my credit card and Mediabi billed me $1 anyway. Scam. Scam....
