This site rips off copyrighted material. I discovered that my book was being freely downlaoded despite copyright protection. After notifying download-file.net, they removed the PDF version, but kept all other formats (wmv, etc.) active. They emailed me a support ticket for my complaint that has a bogus URL to track... See Moreresolution.

I believe most of the materials on this site (recent movies, software, etc.) are stolen materials. They do a volume business and make money until someone puts them out of business. It's a typical piracy operation. i would be very worried about giving them credit card information...
