Placed add 11/12 for $400 and have not received ONE offer even after lowering price $10,000! (well below book value). Do not use this company. You will probably be disappointed like me!

Ripoff! They charge $399 (if you get the "Manager's Special", otherwise it's $499) to list with them, for which you get an eBay ad and a listing on their website "until your RV sells". The kicker that isn't explained until you've signed up has to do how that... See Moreline is presented. Yes, you get an eBay ad... but only for 21 days. The listing that runs until your RV sells is the one on their website. The wording is carefully constructed to make you think the eBay ad is included in the "until it sells" guarantee, but once you give them you're payment, you find out it's not. Read the second sentence again. You in fact get an eBay ad, and you get an ad on their website that runs until your rig sells. See the importance of how that's worded? The comma is what keeps it legal. Thing is, it's hard to see a verbal comma, isn't it? The practice is unfortunately legal. Legal, but unethical.

With us, we got periodic calls with status reports telling us we had had X many eBay views and X many "watchers". The thing is, you have to take their word for it, because they're the seller on eBay so only they can see that info on your auction - you have to take their word for it.

Then, the morning of the day the ad was to expire, they called and told us there were over a dozen watchers, and if we were to switch to a new 21 day low-priced auction with a high reserve, they were sure one of the watchers would jump in and start a bidding war. The cost to do so was only an additional $399, and $499 if we wanted the recommended "front page option" on eBay. They also claimed they would reach out and contact the "watchers", just to let them know.

That's when the rat I smelled went from stinky to revolting. I've sold many things on eBay, and know that you are never given a watcher's contact information. Yet the guy from told me they had their names, phones numbers, and addresses. As I know that can't happen, I asked how that worked. The answer was, it was due to a special proprietary arrangement between them and eBay. (Are you smelling the fertilizer yet?)

All that is my horror story. I suggest you avoid your own. I checked: it costs ClassyRV $50 to run your ad on eBay. The rest is profit for them. My recommendation is to avoid ClassyRV's scam and run an eBay auction by yourself - it's not hard. It'll cost you $125 because you're not what's called a power seller, but you're still hundreds ahead vs. giving these guys $399 or $499, and having them ask you for that much more again in three weeks..

I'm also going to let eBay know about the statements. re: having a proprietary arrangement with eBay. If it's true (and I'm sure it's not), eBay needs to be nailed for sharing info without authorization. If it's not, Classy RV needs to be nailed for fraud.

Classyrv is run by National Vehicle Marketing (NVM) based in Omaha Nebraska. Warning! Warning! - get everything in writing from NVM. When you see the real deal you will realize what a ripoff they are.

Salesman, Richard, for NVM lied to me and ripped me off for $500. ... See MoreRichard told me that NVM would advertise my motorhome on both eBay and classyrv until sold. They did place an ad on eBay for 21 days, then stopped. I called NVM and complained but was flatly refused any refund. I paid $500 for 21 days on eBay, how stupid is that? NVM did place my ad on classyrv as promised. And I am sure it will remain there, along with hundreds of others as a testimonial to all the people this unethical company has ripped off.
