There are several companies hosting Caesary but this review is for Caesary hosted by Lekool.
... See MoreCaesary is a free to play, mass multiplayer, browser based, civilization game based on the Roman Empire. Though it is free to play, there is a option to pay for items that will help you progress if you do not have the time to invest that you would like to. No download is required. You simply make an account and start playing. Caesary by Lekool launched this year and by the 4th day had over 30,000 players. They recently opened a second server to play on to accommodate mass amount of people flocking to this game.
I recently started playing it after finding a random link to it on facebook. I’ve played various similar civilization games but what caught my attention so quick with this one was the fact that in all the other games I have played, you invest a ton of time &/or money into building your city just to have it destroyed or captured by another player sending you back to the basics. With Caesary, you will never lose your city. That fact got me playing the game, the fact that has kept me playing and addicted is the Lekool staff. From the second I started playing Caesary, the staff of Lekool has run nonstop events that award the players with in game items. Not only does this add additional content to the game but it also shows me that Lekool cares about interacting with their players.
When you start the game, you are given a barren plot of land. From there you can:
-Build your city.
-Recruit Heroes.
-Raise an army.
-Play solo or join a league.
-Battle other players.
-Research and upgrade technologies.
-Raid npc controlled wildernesses for resources.
Far more that I could list but there is no lack of content in game. The lekool staff is constantly on the lookout for new event ideas and suggestions for the game.
All in all I would recommend everyone try this game out. It may not be for everyone but there is no risk to trying it. If you would like to see a bit more of the game before you try it, the website and official game trailers are listed below. I hope to see you in game.
