Brassring is completely unusable for me. A prominent technology company that I was applying to uses this to process applications. "Create new password," Fine, I can do that. Confirmed new password twice, went to login, "Login does not exist." Incorrect, nevertheless, I create a new login, using the login name... See Morethat I prefer (the one that I was told originally does not exist) "that login already exists." You can't have it both ways!!! Either it exists or it doesn't. Miraculously (or so it seemed), it allowed me to reset the login. Great, I'll start from scratch. It claims to send you a link to create a new login and password. Sadly, the link never gets sent. Not to my spam, not anywhere. Heartbreaking. A consistently horrible experience.

Brassring is safe. Period. All that really needs to be rated about a web app or web page. There are issues with some browsers or browser settings. Personally, I have no issues what so ever with Firefox on Win7 Pro x64. Once again, all that needs to be said is... See Morethat Brassring is safe.

I'm not too impressed with brassring as an automated service for job applications. It won't allow you to substitute a new resume for a position for which you've already applied. Also, the resume information isn't properly extracted to populate the application fields UNLESS you use a file that is .txt... See Moreor .rtf formats. My advice is to not use a .docx or .pdf resume with formatting. It really is a mess. I have not encountered the problems mentioned below using Firefox as the browser. I've had better success with sites that use Teleo.

Gotta call the company. They need a better IT department.

Don't try to fill out applications using BrassRings if you're using anything other than Internet Explorer on Windows. This website fritzed out on me every step of the way, and I had to save a draft every time I entered a few lines of information. It took me a total... See Moreof three hours to get through barely half of my application! It's also impossible to simply log in to my job-searching profile. I have to make like I'm adding positions to my job cart in order to get to the prompt for my e-mail address and password. The design and accessibility of this website, powered by Kenexa, is terrible.
