This site is not legit and you should find another site or way to promote yourself online.
I have had first hand experience with the company cause I used to be employed for them. They just take your money and dont do anything with your music. Here is how they... See Morework.

The mailing list that you first receive about a licensing opportunity is false is just used to get your contact info so that you get a sales call. The sales call comes in the form of a five-day trail for just $2.95. After the free trail you start to get charged the site fee of $59.95 monthly. which is good and fine if they actually did any promoting and or submitting to radio stations.

Next, when you get tired of spending the $59.95 or figure out that you aren't getting what you paid for you cancel. Now is when the real fun happens. will call you and tell you that you have a e-zine that is interested in writing a review of your music. But they can't send your contact info unless you become a member to site again. The thing is that now they have a choice to give you a discount price or stick you with the 59.95 again ( the sales guy that tried to sell me used 29.95 and 19.95. The magazine or E-zine that they say will write a review of your music is actually owned by the owner of They have three of them and possibly even more now.
Are the ones that am aware of.

GREAT WEBSITE!!!! I would highly recommend, They helped my band secure a license to a tv show that paid great, also the recourses available led us to our current manager, at $60 a month this service is a steal and easily pays for itself if you use it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Artist PR ROCKS, our band needed a website, and you get one with your membership. We have increased our CD and T-shirt sales, and have found ton's of valuable resources there to further our career. we have been written up in 2 magazines, and are close to sealing a deal... See Morefor one of our songs to be used in a TV show!
Totally worth the small fee, we chip in $10 bucks each a month and its like nothing!!

I would give Artistpr 2 thumbs up. I used to promote a new Cd release for a client. They charged me $60 a month and for that I was able to submit my client to radio and press. We also got some interest from a music supervisor that... See Morewanted to license our music for a tv commercial (still waiting to hear back) We also got a pretty cool website. They also provided a ton of helpful industry contacts. I may have went with a bigger company if I could afford $3,000 a month but for $60 a month you can't beat it. All in all I was very happy and would use them again in the future.
